Welcome to Everywhere Awaits! I know what you’re thinking – yet another travel blog from someone who quit their job to travel the world – exciting but so unrealistic. Not the case here. I’m Meg, a working professional with a passion for travel and languages. Juggling traveling with career and family is a challenge, but it leads to some amazing experiences! I want to share these with you and inspire you to take your own adventure!

This site may NOT be for you if:

  1. You like to avoid the locals while traveling.
  2. You think English is the only language a person needs to know.
  3. You prefer luxury experiences.
  4. You don’t much care for culture or history.
  5. You don’t see any reason to leave the resort.

If you disagree with these statements, read on, this site is for you!

I believe that best way to experience a place is to get to know its people and appreciate its culture. My style of travel is to maximize personal connections and experience, and minimize cost! Everywhere Awaits is designed to be your travel resource – from reading my experiences in the country to picking up useful phrases in the language training posts!

Feel free to message me with any questions about the countries, cultures, or travel in general! Happy travels!
